Whats up with the long weekend(Aug 27-30)?

Yahoooooo!!! Its a long weekend again!!! It only means rest and pleasure!

Heading somewhere?  Fortunately, my brother invited The Family to have
a one night get-away to his new work-base province.  At least, a taste of its
delicacies, fresh air, a province tour, duty free and hopefully a relaxing stay
in one of its vacation hotels where luxury, leisure and relaxation await us.

Will just post pictures after the mini getaway.

Bout you, what are you up to?  Anyways,  have a safe weekend everyone...

A Krispy Kreme coffee date with my Husband + a Coffee Passport

Had been missing my fave Blue Berry kruffin @Krispy Kreme lately so I decided
to have a coffee date with my husband just this afternoon which I paired it with
Caramel Latte.  As usual, The Husband ordered his medium-sized brewed coffee
and Newyork Cheesecake.

I was surprised for a KK Coffee Passport which was handed to me by the crew.
How it works?  Every time you buy a cup of coffee, your passport will be stamped.
And your stamps will entitle you to free Krispy Kreme products/merchandise below.

When you buy 3 coffees, you can get 6 original glazed doughnuts for free.

After having 6 stamps, you can get a collectible mug.  Buy 12 coffees and your
12 original glazed doughnuts are free.

The Husband, enjoying our Krispy Kreme coffee date.

What a great coffee date to end the weekend and start the manic Monday.

An Egg Sandwich-Making Saturday

A week's excitement of my son has finally come to its fulfillment when he was able
to make his Egg Sandwich just this morning.  As expected, he woke up early
today and immediately jumped out from bed to prepare his Egg Sandwich.

The ingredients...6 hard-boiled eggs, a medium-size mayonnaise  pouch,
white pepper and soft bread.

Procedure:
1. Peel off the shell of the hard-boiled egg.
.
2. Cut/slice the egg into small pieces.

3. Put the mayonnaise.

4. Sprinkle a little white pepper and mix.

Tasting his mixture...

5. Slice the soft bread and put the filling.

Presto!!! Marty has Egg Sandwich and he made proud of it  by sharing it with
me and his Papa.

He enjoyed the activity and can't wait for next Saturday's recipe. Really, another
fun-filled learning experience again for my son.

Kumon Chronicles of my son - moving up to Reading 4A level

My son just completed the 5A level in Reading in two weeks and will now be in
4A level.

Although, he always tell me that he already knew the lessons in 5A on his
Kinder 1 class, he never missed any worksheet unanswered. He also enjoyed the
story reading time in the center after answering the assigned worksheets to him.
Even at home, he is prompt in doing his take home worksheets.  And every time,
he comes home with an Excellent stamp, he is very proud of his small
accomplishments.

As what I observed after his two weeks  session, he has improved his mastery
of words.  He improved a lot in oral spelling not only on three-letter words but
also on 5 to 6 letter words (white, school, night, window, door, table, child, sight
and etc.)

For his 4A level, he is expected to continue developing pre-reading skills by
saying words with consonant blends, consonant digraphs, consonant-controlled
vowels, and long vowels produced by the silent e.

Well for now, it is working with my son. He doesn't get bored and I hope he
will not.  Since I cannot get him to studying his lessons when we are together
and all he wanted is to play with me, I'll take advantage of this Kumon way.

Enjoying a Jollibee Chicken Joy + Pizza Hut

It has been a routine that every time we go to SM, my son will have his lunch at
Jollibee.  After his love for french fries and burger, he now craves for the Chicken
Joy (1-piece).

After his Kumon this morning, we went to SM for a lunch.  Since Jollibee is over
crowded that time, I was able to convince him to just take it out and eat in
Pizza Hut.  Next to Jollibee, he likes to eat pizza too provided its the pepperoni
one.

My son enjoying eating Chicken Joy with his slice of pizza.

And here is what I've been missing... the Bolognese Spaghetti of Pizza Hut.
Great for sharing with The Husband.

+ the yummylicious Super Supreme pizza.

Was really a one happy Jollibee Chicken Joy + Pizza Hut weekend for
The Family.

Happy Birthday to my sister Jec

Its August 3 and its my sister Jec's birthday. She is now on her 30th year, still
single, a doctor in profession and is living her life happily and beautifully.

We just had our dinner @ Hap Chan and enjoyed the mixed dimsum, steamed
fish, chopsuey, roasted pork with their noodles. Then headed to Starbucks for
coffee and cake to end the night of bonding.

Because of her busy schedule @work, she seldom join us in our family
get-aways.  Nevertheless, her bright face shows she is really enjoying

what she is doing and whatever she is up to now.  Oopppsss, we forgot to ask
if she already has a special someone.

Again, Happy Birthday Jec!  The Family loves you very much and wishes
you all the best!!!
