Burgos-Bangui-Hannah's Beach Resort, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte (April 19-20, 2014)

The last leg in our Ilocos trip: Burgos-Bangui-Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte.

Because of the blazing warmth of Mr. Sun, I just had a photo-op from afar
on the Kapurpurawan Rock Formation, Burgos.  Don't forget to bring
caps, umbrellas and bottled water especially when you go to the rock
formation for protection from heat exhaustion. There are umbrellas for
rent at Php10 though.

After Burgos, we dropped by the Bangui Windmills - wind turbines that produce
electricity for the region.  The wind turbines are lined-up along the 9-kilometer
shore of Bangui Bay.

The sand was so hot that I almost suffered from legs cramp.  Nevertheless,
its great to see these man-made creation.  Also, different windmills souvenirs
are available in the area - T-shirt, magnets, key chains and display  windmill
figures.

Before we went to Hannah's Beach Resort in Pagudpud, The Family had
a photo-op on the Patapat Viaduct -  a snaking coastal bridge that connects
Ilocos Norte to Cagayan Valley. What made the trip special is that we are
in the tip of Northern Luzon.

Finally, we experienced the Boracay of the North at Hannah's Beach Resort
and Convention Center - a luxury resort for pleasure and well-being.
It offers a breathtaking view of the beautiful nature, white powdered sand
beach and a lot of adventures for kids and adults alike - zip line, dolphin
watching, island hopping, fishing, scuba diving, etc....

Our accommodation with 2 queen beds, 1 sofa bed and 1 extra single bed
for PHP8,000. With CR, TV and cabinet.  No coffee set but electric kettle
can be requested.

Laoag, Ilocos Norte - Fort Ilocandia Resort(Apr.18-19,2014)

Our fourth destination - Fort Ilocandia Resort Hotel and Casio in Laoag,
Ilocos Norte.

As the only 5-star hotel in the North, our stay was truly a luxury.
A Spanish-inspired structure due to its brick-walled plus the lush
climbing bougainvillea is a perfect match to adore.

It has world-class amenities - outdoor pool, some rooms have jacuzzi,
golf course, casino for the aficionados and lots of sports activities.

The Family enjoyed the 4x4 Sand Dunes ride and the sand boarding.
My son also drove an ATV with his Lolo.

Will surely come back to Laoag for this one beautiful place and experience
again.

To satisfy your tummy desires, it has a lot of restaurants, bars and cafe.
Enjoyed our dinner with the Cantonese and Korean flavors of Red 8
Asian Restaurant and savored a buffet breakfast at Cafe Ilocandia.
At the Sunset Lounge just down the pool....

 At the Piano Lounge...

I loved our comfortable stay in a spacious deluxe room.
