Clark, Pampanga - Another Widus Resort Get-away (Nov 2-3, 2013)

The Family was back at Widus Resort and Casino, Clark Pampanga for a
weekend staycation just last Nov. 2-3.  

The new hotel wing is now up but haven't got the chance to have a glimpse
of the inside. Maybe on our soon return to this place.

As always, my son enjoyed swimming until the sun sets.

Our stay was a memorable one.  We were upgraded from a Deluxe room
to a Presidential Suite because they were late in giving us our room.

Woot woot....So have a look of what the Presidential Suite offers - spacious
and earth-tone finish and furnitures. With living room, dining room, small
kitchen and adjacent is a comfort room.

 

And our room with a king-size bed. My son was surprised with the bathroom.
It has a separate shower area, toilet and a jacuzzi which my son really loved.

The Family had its buffet breakfast at Salt restaurant. Our accommodation comes

with 2 buffet breakfast vouchers so we just paid half of 700PHP for my son's 

breakfast. Food is good but nothing is more than special - noodle soup, 

dumplings, bacon, beef tapa, pancake, salad bar, cakes and pastries, 

on-season fruits and with overflowing coffee and juice of your choice. 

The couple had a date in the Prism bar over San Miguel pale pilsen and
zombie cocktail drink and enjoyed the night watching the 5 Sisters band.

Staying in a Presidential Suite costs 20K which is too much to afford. So
we enjoyed every second of our stay on this room.  Thanks Widus for this
rare free experience. Just got lucky.

Bohol - The Bellevue Resort Bohol(Oct 11-13, 2013)

It was a perfect stay indeed at The Bellevue Resort Bohol in Panglao. 
The Family began to love it - the luxurious stay, superb service, accommodating
staff, great food and where the fine white-sand beach meets the wonders
of this resort.

The "B" signature. With an earth-tone exterior, spacious lobby and chic interior
which gives an aura of luxurious relaxation.

And now, our truly beautiful room with 2 double beds and the sofa for my son.
With flat screen TV, balcony, mini-bar and our bathroom was just perfect.
It has a separate tub and a glass-enclosed shower. I just loved the rainshower.

 

For the dining, the resort has one bar and 2 restaurants. The Flujo bar, Lamian
and the Marea restaurants.

Our daily buffet breakfast is at the Lamian Restaurant which serves international
cuisine. Ambiance and interior, really inviting.

The Marea where we had our lunch and dinner galore...

This resort has a lot of wonders to offer. My son even thought of extending
his stay on this resort after knowing that Monday was a holiday. 

In the basement of Marea Restaurant are facilities such as kids's place/game
room, gym and Azurea SPA.

Other services - ATM service, souvenir shop, they arrange Panglao/Country side
tours,  with drop-off and pick-up service to Alona Beach (100PHP/way), and
with free airport-hotel hotel shuttle.  So what more can you ask for?

And the nicest of them - they allowed us to have an early check-in and late
check-out and allowed my son for a free daily buffet breakfast.

Our accommodation is 8K++ per night with buffet breakfast for 2.  I think
1 buffet breakfast costs 1,200PHP.

The Family will surely come back to this one great place - truly world-class.
