Villa Escudero Plantations and Resort(May 2, 2015)

Located between the boundary of San Pablo City and Tiaong Quezon, there
lies the scenic countryside resort - Villa Escudero Plantations and Resort.

I know that this is a super late post due to all The Family's pics were in
my stolen laptop, still can't miss posting this family's  quick getaway
to one great rural scenery.  I will just share with you the pics I uploaded
in FB.

We availed the Day Tour which costs 1,400PHP/person (Fri-Sun & Holiday)
and includes welcome drink, carabao ride from the resort to the
registration area, buffet lunch in the waterfalls and outdoor recreational
facilities.  There is also a cultural show after lunch.

The Family enjoyed the buffet lunch with the water falls as the backdrop
and a cold spring water that flows in our feet.  However, it was a little
slippery because of the moss on the stones. So be extra careful or better
yet, walk barefooted.

We watched the cultural show after lunch, my son tried fishing and
what he enjoyed the most was the paddling a bamboo raft on lake
Labasin with his father.  Had a quick swimming in the pool, biking
and enjoyed the other free recreational facilities.

Super love the halo-halo also.

Aside from what we experienced, there is a lot of other attractions and
amenities like rural village tour, bird watching, museum and other
sports like basketball, tennis, billiards, etc.  It offers overnight accommodation
also.

Solaire Resort and Casino (Feb. 27-28, 2016) - A moment of luxury

Truly, a 5-star resort in Manila - with the finest accommodation, dining pleasure
and distressing relaxation on its picture-perfect swimming pool.

Thanks to my sister for this treat who celebrated her birthday in Solaire.  She
was so lucky because she was given a room upgrade from Deluxe to
Prestige Suite in the Bay Side of the hotel.

The panoramic view of the Manila bay was so perfect.  Sharing with you
the features of our Prestige Suite room Bay View.

Experiencing luxury even for a moment.

The room is 150 sq.m. in area. With 1 King bed and 71" cable TV in the bedroom.
It has a separate dining and living room, as well as bathrooms with separate
rain showers and bathtubs. With control systems for the lighting, TV, and
curtains opening to the wide view of the Manila Bay. There is a walk-in wardrobe
closet, 24-hour Wi-Fi access, and iPod docking station.

The Family had a sumptuous buffet breakfast at Fresh over a wide varieties
of menu and desserts. And my son enjoyed its wide and beautiful swimming
pool.

The only thing I did not want with this hotel is that the casino is  very much
exposed to kids and you can smell cigarette smoke even inside the elevator.
Solaire should do something with this if they want to make this hotel a
family-friendly one.

Chinese New Year Baguio Weekend: Le Monet Hotel(Feb. 6-8, 2016)

The Family's stay on this chic and posh hotel - Le Monet Hotel was
simply awesome.

Located in the pine tree-filled Camp John Hay, it is where you will
feel rejuvenated and be communed with the nature.

I love our room with 2 queen beds and a veranda. Food choices for the
buffet breakfast was the usual and just enough.

Hotel is just a walking distance to a lot of shops in the camp and
to Forest Lodge where we had a late night coffee.

Will surely love to stay on this hotel again when we come back.
