Tagaytay - The Serene Taal Volcano & Lake @Picnic Grove

After almost 6 years, it was the long weekend of August 19 amidst the
on and off rain which paved the way for The Family to visit Tagaytay City.

First destination was the Picnic Grove to see the breathtaking, wide and
serene scenery of the Taal Volcano & Lake.

At the view deck looking at the volcano up close.

It was my son's first time here.  He enjoyed the morning board walk
as well as the hanging bridge for an Eco-adventure Trail experience.

Walking on the Eco-Trail gives you a great view of those riding
on the zip line.

Despite the gloomy weather, people from everywhere enjoyed their
food over-seeing the lake, kids flying their kites, lovers sitting down
on the green grass, and some are enjoying the lush scenery while
on the 250-meter Tagaytay Ridge Zipline or in the 5-minute cable
car rides.

Surely, The Family will come back to this place once my son is ready
to try the zip line and the horse-back riding.

After an awesome view of the Taal Volcano & Lake, we had our
packed lunch eaten inside our car and headed to Bag of Beans
for their famous house coffee and blue berry cheese cake.
