Ayala Triangle Gardens Christmas Lights Show - 12302011

Its our 2nd year to witness the brightness of the Christmas Lights show @
Ayala Triangle Gardens. Brighter, more lively, star-full of lights dancing
in Christmas songs medley.

The Family really enjoyed the show.

Taekwondo: My son's Promotion to Yellow Belt

After 3.5 months of TKD training, my son is now a Yellow Belter.  His promotion
was held last Dec. 18 @ Ateneo. TKD kids from different schools/groups gathered
together for this one big event.  He was very happy with his coach Jec Panotes
and fellow MSA TKD kids.

Getting ready for the warm-up.

Warming-up. Stretching....

So bad, I received error in uploading the video of his exam and interview.
At last, received his yellow belt.

With his coach Jec putting on the belt.

Our family's Christmas 2011

Indeed, Christmas is about one great family bonding. It is centered on the birth
of Jesus Christ with the 3 Kings offering their gifts which gave the brightest
light and hope to mankind.

The Family joined my husband's family reunion on the 24th starting off with a
lunch at Chef Jessie @ Rockwell Club, the kids played together in the arcade,
chikahan over coffee then ending it with the anticipated Christmas mass.

We finally celebrated the Christmas eve with my family.  As usual, my son
Marty was the Santa Claus and facilitated the exchange of gifts. Of course,
we enjoyed the sumptuous Noche Buena that my mother prepared.

A Polka Dots Christmas party

This was the polka-dots Christmas party in my son's school.  Polka-dots came in
different colors and sizes.  For girls, there were a lot of styles to choose from but
with my son, it was all out of stock or nothing at all. So the polka-dots were just
on the upper and lower part of his shirt and unnoticeable actually.

Food from Jollibee and of course Jollibee himself graced the party.

With Barney for the junior nursery.  Even my son was excited with Barney.
His Barney pillow is still his favorite since he was a baby and is still using it.

Taekwondo: The TKD Christmas party way

Thanks to their coach Jec Panotes for a different Christmas Party - Taekwondo
way.

Coach gave Santa hat to every body which was worn through out the party.
They started the party with their formation practise, followed by the fun-filled
Taekwondo games and ended up on great and sumptuous food that each
kid's family brought.

Some of the games...
1. Gearing-Up
2. The longest line - using their TKD belts.

3. Trip to Jerusalem

4. Breaking of the board. At first my son was hesitant to try.  He told me that
he can't do it. But with courage, he made it.

Lots of prizes too.  World of Fun gift checks from Coach and amazing
game prizes from the parents.

The Family really enjoyed this wonderful party. Again, kudos to the
coaches, kids and parents for this successful party.

My son's passion for building anything with his Lego

After his love for his Mega Blocks, he is now insanely in-love with his
new construction toy- LEGO. His imagination really works every time
he builds something.

He was amazed on the different constructions that a LEGO can do
during the exhibit at SM The Block - temples, castles, tower, dinosaurs,
robots and a lot more.

As he was very much interested, I told him that this will be our Christmas
gift for him.  We bought the basic Lego construction set.  See.....he was
very happy that he was able to construct this which he named - My house,
my car, my pet and my pet house.

Some of his constructions from his imagination and picture of things around.

Lucky me - I won a 32-inch Toshiba LCD TV

It was really a lucky day and night for me of Dec. 16.  I took half day time-out
from work and joined my son on their Taekwondo Christmas Party. The Family
really enjoyed the party.  Game prizes and food were overflowing. And right
after, I rushed to our company Christmas party and was able to register before
the deadline to be included in the raffle draw.

And lucky me, I won this 32-inch Toshiba LCD TV with home theater.
Thank you Lord for this wonderful Christmas gift.

Another year older and is looking forward for a brighter year

December 1 marked my 38th birthday! With my father-in-law's death last Nov. 30,
The Family was in the mourning moment and so busy on the wake that day.

To make my day still a memorable one, I brought home the cute cake that my staff
gave me and my son blew the candle. I also bought pansit and BBQ to share.

I was also surprised that my husband rushed home past 11PM from his father's
wake to celebrate the night with me.  He brought me 1 slice of Starbucks
chocolate cake and Yellow Cab's sandwiches.

What is the feeling of being 38?  For me, age is just a number.  What is important
is that every year I get older, I have accomplished most of my goals from last year
and I am ready to face new challenges and achieve new goals - personal and
family matters.  And most of all, always looking and moving forward for a brighter
year ahead.
