Art In Island (May 30, 2015)

Who wouldn't want to be "part of the art"?  Here in Art in Island,
you will be challenged to be in your most creative mind in striking
a pose.

Be ready to go crazy and playful with your friends in interacting with the
different objects in the giant 3D paintings which will make you
come to life in photos.

The Family's 3-hour visit here last May 30 was really worth it and we
brought home with us a hundred of our craziest, wakiest and happiest
pictures.

This will surely be a fave place for school fieldtrips and of course
for family and barkada art-full bonding moments.

Don't worry if you don't have ideas yet on how to get picture perfect pose
since there are samples on the wall that can guide you to have that
perfect pose as well as the point where to take that perfect shot.

I think the entrance fee is just right and really worth it.  Students, SC and
PWD have 100PHP discount.

This one great place is the first of its kind in the Philippines located in
Cubao, Quezon City.  It is open from Tuesday to Sunday 9:30AM to
9:30PM.

What to bring? Socks as the floor is quite cold, a camera, your family
and friends and your best you.

Here are some of The Family's perfect shots....

Montemar Beach Club, Bagac, Bataan - A Mother's Day Treat (May 9-10, 2015)

The Family celebrated Mothers' Day at Montemar Beach Club, Bagac, Bataan.
It was a very relaxing and refreshing experience and a close encounter with
nature - the white sand shore, clear beach, mountain view, the green
surrounding plus the old and giant trees that give a perfect coolness in the midst
of the summer's high temperature.

One of the beautiful sunsets I witnessed.

Of course, not discounting our beautiful and clean accommodation. Our room
was a WOW - clean, spacious, comfortable bed with lots of pillows and an
extra bed with pull-out in the side.  Each room has a terrace with a good view
of the beach and the pool. It has a mini-ref and bar.  Though without an
electric kettle, you can request for a hot water anytime and will be delivered
to you.  Despite food is not allowed as stated on its website, we were able to
bring food and drinks. When I asked if food is not allowed, they just answered
that they don't encourage bringing in.

The food in La Marea offers a generous serving of everything. My son loved
the laing, the sinigang na lechon sa kawali and the gambas.  The buffet
breakfast menu can be compared to some 4-star hotels' buffet breakfast here
in Manila.

The Family had a dinner outside of La Marea...

Had a taste of the buffet breakfast...

A lot of amenities to keep the guests feel close to home - basketball, tennis
court, volleyball, gym, kids playground, hanging bridge.  We tried to swim
on the 2 swimming pools available for the guests. They have another pool
exclusive for club members only.

Overall, this is one of the great resort experiences The Family had next to
Boracay.  I got our room for 6,200PHP inclusive of buffet breakfast for 2
plus all the ameneties. The Husband can't get over our stay there to the
extent that he asked me if we can go back to that place.

A lovely Family Valentine Date @ Edsa Shangri-La (Feb. 14-15, 2015)

Big thanks to my brother for this lovely Family Valentine date spent
in Edsa Shangri-La Hotel. Aside from the Valentine occasion,
the hotel is also preparing for the Chinese New Year celebration.
Thus, we had a sneak peek of what the hotel will offer come the
Chinese New Year.

This was The Family's 3rd time but every stay opportunity offers a
great feeling of excitement and relaxation.

What we love about this hotel - our grandiose bedroom, the delectable
tummy-filling breakfast at the Heat, the kiddie-friendly swimming
pool, the lobby coffee shop with our favorite banana loaf plus
the 5-star hotel service.

Sharing with you some of The Family's photo during our Valentine stay
last February 14-15, 2015.
