Its my son's birthday in June and he'll be turning 5 come June 12. It is also our
Philippines Independence Day. Lucky us if the holiday falls on weekdays, The
Family can spend the whole day with the birthday boy or another extra day on
top of the weekends.
It also signals the start of the school year. Malls and markets are jam-packed with
people buying school stuff for their kids. While some are still busy with the
school enrollment.
June officially ends the summer and its days are usually gloomy. Most often than
not, it is raining. Good time for kids to just stay in the house and prepare for at
least 2 weeks before the class starts.
And June is reminding us that the first half of the year is coming to its end. For
me, a need to assess personal and family goals if can still be met as planned.
A time to re-visit our financial statement would help.
