My son's 7th Birthday - June 12, 2013

June 12, 2013 - It's Philippines Independence Day and so as my son Marty's 7th Birthday.

Time really flies so fast, he is now a big boy. Doing his assignments, eating,
taking a bath  and dressing-up by himself.  He loves going to school, never
get tired of his Taekwondo sessions and loves to dance and sing.
That is my Marty boy.

The celebration started off with a lunch in Mangetsu, Jupiter, Makati for my
son's favorite Tempura with his cute cousins.

Spent the afternoon at Rockwell Club for fun swimming.

He also treated his classmates in school.

Cebu - Its more fun in Plantation Bay(May 24-26, 2013)

The third and last day of The Family in Cebu was spent in Plantation Bay
Resort.  It's really refreshing and relaxing. My son just can't stop
swimming.

We just availed the Day Tour package for 2K each which includes  access
to all swimming pools and lagoons, buffet lunch, 30-minute use of bicycle,
kayak, free use of shower rooms, and indoor sports.

Other restaurants Fiji, Palermo and Savannah Grill.  With 2 souvenir shops
that I had passed by.  Will surely come back for the Mogarbo Springs -
health and relaxation SPA.

It is all water...

Lunch at Kilimanjaro Kafe. Terrific buffet food, 1 round of iced tea and
overflowing pastries and refillable brewed coffee.

What a great view while dining as surrounded by the gigantic swimming pool.

After a whole day of fun swimming, we rode their shuttle in going to Mactan
Airport for our going home.

Cebu - City Tour & Historical Places(May 24-26, 2013)

The Family's 2nd day in Cebu was spent in the city's historical and famous
places.

We had our accommodation in the iconic skyscraper in the city - Crown Regency
Hotel and Towers. Value-for-money accommodation, a number of bar and restos,
various recreation and fitness facilities, and great service. It's really one great
place for business and pleasure.

The Sky Experience Adventure Tour makes it a busy and popular to tourists.

After The Family's worthwhile city tour, my son spent the rest of the day til night
swimming in the refreshing and massage pools of the hotel.

Our city tour which we rented a van for 1,500 - Taoist Temple, Fort San Pedro,
Magellan's Cross, Basilica del Sto. Nino, Shamrock for pasalubong treats
and Taboan Market for the dried fish.

Taoist Temple, located in Beverly Hills is overlooking Cebu City.  It represents
the teachings of Lao-Tse the 600 B.C. Chinese philosopher.

Fort San Pedro, located in the Plaza Independencia is a military defense structure.
It has a museum which brings back memories of the old times in Cebu.

Magellan's Cross, a must-see icon located in the heart of Cebu.  It is a cross
made of wood planted by Ferdinand Magellan located inside an old stone
dome.

And here is the Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino beside the Magellan's Cross.

My son making a wish...

Bought Cebu delicacies from Shamrock Pasalubong Center.

My son's favorite mango juice.

Taboan Public Market ended our tour.  I bought danggit and squid for pasalubong.
The smell of the dried fish is so strong which sticked on my shirt. Your really need
to take a bath to remove the fishy smell.

Tried Cebu's lechon for dinner. And after the buffet breakfast at Glo Cafe,
The Family went immediately to Plantation Bay for another awesome experience.
