Family fun and bonding at the Quezon Memorial Circle

It was a great Dec. 23 great family fun and bonding at the Quezon Memorial Circle.

I thought I was in the Enchanted Kingdom that time when I saw same rides
were all jam-packed with kids and kids at heart.

Around were families enjoying the picnic, some were biking, jogging, strolling,
looking for great finds in the tiangges, and some having photo-ops with the
dinosaurs.

While some including my son enjoyed the inexpensive rides - boating,
zorb, zip line, carousel, ferriswheel and so many more.  Ride fee usually
ranges from 30-40 per ride. It was so affordable that a lot had surely
enjoyed.

What my son really enjoyed was the Go Kart.

The Family had its dinner at the Coconut Haus tasting some of its specialties -
Sinigang na Baboy(sa buko), Ginatadobo with Ensaladang Buko.

It was a very tiring long night but it was worth it all.

Merry Christmas 2012

It has been The Family's tradition to spend the whole day of Dec. 24 with
The Husband's family and the Christmas Noche Buena with mine.

We had a sumptuous lunch at Chef Jessie at the Rockwell Club. I had
Rib Eye steak and The Husband had his Lamb Chop.  The kids spent
the whole afternoon at the arcade games.

We ended the afternoon attending the anticipated Christmas mass.

Excited for the Noche Buena and gift-giving, my son had his time
count-down until 12 midnight for the gift-giving and opening.

It was another joyous Christmas for my kid and a stronger bonding
for The Family.

Thank you God for all the love and blessings...

Baguio - Breakfast at The Manor Hotel, Camp John Hay

I treated The Family with The Manor Hotel's sumptuous buffet breakfast.

Because of the great food, nice ambiance, stroll in the park, and the pine trees,
we always go back here for a treat.

Experiencing Christmas @ The Manor.

Baguio - Famous Beautiful Spots

After my birthday buffet breakfast @ The Manor Hotel, The Family visited the
beautiful places in Baguio.  My son  had a checklist of these places from their
lessons in Civics and Culture.

3 years after our last visit here, its nice to see these famous places again.

First stop was in The Mansion.

At the Wright Park.  My son eating the strawberry taho.  Next visit, we'll try the
horse back riding.

At the Mines View Park.

Great to see people engaged in different activities in Burnham Park: family picnic,
boating, biking, just walking around, dating, etc.

A nice picnic experience for my son.

And last but not the least - the famous landmark along the Kennon road -
@ the Lion's head.  For me, you have not been to Baguio if you haven't seen
this.

La Trinidad, Baguio - Strawberry Farm

This was our first stop during our trip to Baguio last Nov 30-Dec.1. The Family
was supposed to pick strawberries but when we saw the small sizes picked-up
by others, we changed our mind. We just took pictures of the fields and tried some.

The Family will surely come back in March for a strawberry picking
experience.

A line of stores for pasalubong shopping - walis tambo, souvenirs, small
packed-foodies, strawberry wines, and a lot...

So sweet strawberries of Baguio.
